City of Leduc
Buying and selling in Leduc
Airport, Nisku, and Telford Lake.
Leduc sits just south of the Edmonton International Airport and next to the Nisku industrial park, which is the region's main energy-services hub. That employment base is the main reason people buy here.
Telford Lake runs along the east side of town with a rowing course and a trail loop, and the recreation centre next to it is the anchor for most community activity.

Getting around
The QEII Highway runs along the east side of the city, connecting north to Edmonton and south to Red Deer and Calgary. The airport and Nisku are minutes away, which is why so many airport and energy-services workers live here.
What to check before you buy in Leduc
- Airport flight paths: noise exposure changes noticeably from one area to the next, so visit at different times of day.
- City of Leduc tax and utility rates compared with Edmonton.
- Commute time on the QEII at rush hour if you work in central Edmonton.
Who it tends to suit
Buyers working at the airport, in Nisku, or anywhere along the QEII corridor who want more house per dollar than inner Edmonton.
If you're buying new here
New subdivisions are concentrated on the west and southwest sides. Airport proximity means noise exposure varies meaningfully block to block — worth checking before writing.
